    Blue Screen (BSoD) Help/Advice

Hi, I'm new to this forum and basically I joined because I'm at my wit's
end with a Blue Screen (BSoD) problem.

I'm using Windows Vista on a Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo Mobile laptop.

I have not yet discovered what causes the Blue Screen to appear but I
have to switch of the laptop everytime it happens.

Error codes from BSoD message are displayed as:

    TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
    *** STOP: 0X0000008E (0XC0000005, 0XA525F2F8, 0XAAFC7895,
    0X00000000)

Any help or advice on what is causing this and how to stop it will be
    greatly appreciated.

    Thanks, Chris

My favorite place to start researching Stop Code errors is AumHa:
    TROUBLESHOOTING WINDOWS STOP MESSAGES
    http://aumha.org/a/stop.htm

Or paste the Stop Code into your favorite search engine. Microsoft's new
Bing get 34,200 hits. Check out some of those and then post back with some
    more relevant details.

That code, KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED, almost always points to
hardware problems, not software, and the first parameter, 0XC0000005, points
to memory, so you might start there.

The 0X0000008E corresponds to the following error

    Bug Check 0x8E: KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms794023.aspx

and the 0XC0000005 to a memory access violation (same article).

Which roughly translated means you have a dodgy driver for some device or
program. The particular driver may be indicated along with the error message
(they usually end in .sys and often appear on the same blue screen). Once
you know the guilty driver, the issue generally becomes easier to resolve.

Generally means a hardware / driver error
If you boot into Safe Mode do you still get the bsod?
