| | RE: Error 0xC004D401 (Activation) Plase Help Hello The Vista team will be happy to help you troubleshoot this issue We have seen some related issues for Vista machines that have Spyware Doctor 4.0 installed - if you have this software installed, try uninstalling and see if it helps If not, you can either let me know your email address so that I can contact you or file a service request (free of charge) on the WGA hotline at: http://support.microsoft.com/oas/def...&gprid=9860&;; and let me know what the service request number is I hope that we can help resolve the issue Regards Nir "psassaki" wrote: > Every time appears the mensage > > > "There is a problem with your license so notifications will no longer appear" > You will no longer recive notifications, including those about your license > or activation. > Try to fix this problem, click one of the links below. > Error: 0xC004D401 > Description: > The security processor reported a system file mismatch error. > > I tried to validate, but every time appear "Error on Windows validation" > Unricognized error. > > I tried to change my key but when i do it, appear one new window caled > "Invalid product key" > Code: 0xC004F033 > Description: The Software Licensing Service reported that the product key is > not allowed to be installed. | | RE: Error 0xC004D401 (Activation) Plase Help Yeah, at that time I also could not access the control panel directly from the start button. Why dont u go to my computer first, then from the left side window at the bottom, u click on control panel. It worked for me back then... And after u uninstall the program that u think has compatibility issues, u go online and try to validate again. If it still does not work, go to this website and follow the instructions until u get the transaction code. After a few days (three at the most), someone from the microsoft side will assist u to solve your problem. Hope this will work for u, cause it works for me...
