WLOC won't update unless I turn off WLOC firewall

It won't work whether I invoke it from Update or from within WLOC. I have
added the update program to the Firewall exceptions and also added the
internet addresses for update, but doesn't matter. I have to turn off the
Firewall for update to work. Any ideas?

Re: WLOC won't update unless I turn off WLOC firewall

I am running OneCare on 5744 and have had no problems with OneCare updating.
Here is the OneCare 1.5 Beta Newsgroup. Try it out. 1.5 is at the bottom of
the list.

Thanks Sam. I had already posted there too hoping for an answer.

I don't recall if I responded to you on the OneCare forum yet, Steve, but one
possible reason for this would be if your disk partitions are Dynamic instead of
Basic. For some reason, the OneCare firewall freaks about this and causes
strange firewall behavior.
