| | User Account deleted but... I deleted a user account (via Control Panel>User Accounts) and selected to delete all files etc relating to the user. However, the user's folder still appears in Users folder in Explorer with various subfolders. I understand there may be problems if I simply delete this folder. Is there a safe way to get rid of it? Doug |

Hello Doug, Since you have deleted the user account first through the Control Panel, it will be safe to just right click on it's "C:\Users\(user-name)" folder and delete it. It is left there by default in Vista for a way to recover any files in that user account's user folders if needed. That's all.
