Can't View Installer Folder

Dell XPS M1530

Vista Ultimate + SP1

When I (manually) run multiple anti-spyware apps, they continuously scroll
the folders/files that they are scanning through their GUI window.

I have noticed -- again, in multiple apps -- that they show a
C:\Windows\Installer\... folder.

When I use Explorer and look in C:\Windows, there is no Installer folder
displayed. It shows an IME folder and an inf folder, but no Installer.

In folder view, in Tools - Folder Options - View, "show hidden files and
folders" is selected.

Why can't I see C:\Windows\Installer with Explorer?

Re: Can't View Installer Folder

I just used Advanced Search, searching Everywhere for Installer.

It found Installer folders in, e.g., C-PF-Google, etc.,
but no C-Windows-Installer.

On a different issue, on my original post I cut and pasted into an OE
window.
There was only one blank line between paragraphs.
When I view my original post, there are two blank lines between paragraphs.
In this reply I am enterring text directly into the OE window, not pasting.

You also have to have the ' Hide operating system files ' box clear as well.
