| | Quick launch task bar size and order changing on restart When I start my computer my Quick Launch bar shrinks in size to the point where none of my Quick Launch application icons are visible. I unlock the task bar and drag it so my program icons are visible and rearrange the icons to my preference and lock it . When I restart my computer the quick launch bar reverts to the size where my program icons are not visible and they are rearranged again. What can I do to get the Quick launch bar to remain how I set it up? Vista Ultimate with all updates. Thanks, Bob |

| | RE: Quick launch task bar size and order changing on restart I am having the same identical issue and I am unable to find a fix on the internet. Every fix I have come across has to do with regedit v. 5.0 and Windows Business Ultimate (at least mine) with all updates is V. 6.0 "Bob" wrote: Quote: > When I start my computer my Quick Launch bar shrinks in size to the point > where none of my Quick Launch application icons are visible. | | Re: Quick launch task bar size and order changing on restart Your taskbar settings are stored in the registry key [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Streams\Desktop] Try deleting this key, then configuring the taskbar the way you want it, then rebooting. The key will be recreated when you shut down and should retain your settings on rebooting. If this doesn't fix it, I'm of no use to you. Good luck DD *** "Scarlett" <Scarlett@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:EACC3C0B-7820-4E6D-B149-26FDF40B8507@xxxxxx Quote: >I am having the same identical issue and I am unable to find a fix on the > internet.
