Probably not ever. A very active group for Microsoft Expression Web
was moved to a Web-based forum last year by MS. It's still alive
(just barely) on Usenet, due to the number of groups propagating it,
but there is less activity as time goes by.

Re: Windows7 Newsgroup

Web forums are just so "top heavy". I prefer Usenet and I post and read in
plain text. 'Hope Microsoft has the sense to create a set of Windows 7
Newsgroups.

I subscribe to about 20 newsgroups and if they were web based I would simply
just forget the whole thing as being too crude to waste my time on.

I asked this question in the Win 7 forum and got a response from an MS
employee that NNTP groups would indeed be offered at some point in the
future.

Re: Windows7 Newsgroup

No kidding, eh? Web forums tend to be 'top heavy', IMHO, and loaded with
shakes, kisses, awards, huge sigs and every other piece of annoying cr^ap
they keep on dreaming up. lol

Re: Windows7 Newsgroup

That's because most forum members are still in diapers, or individuals who
have never see the sun or the outside of their front door.
