| Guest | Is Vista dumbed down compared to XP? With XP, when you use the "My Pictures" screen saver you can configure many options. That doesn't seem to be the case with Vista - unless I'm missing something - and I hope I am - because it's a feature that's valuable to me. Can anyone advise? -- Chris |

| Guest | Re: Is Vista dumbed down compared to XP? Since this is beta code, it's too early to judge. Lots of configuration options are not in place yet, as Vista features that seem about ready have been deployed with RC2. Those that are not yet finished are either disabled or simply not apparent. -- Dave "Chris" <nospam@[127.0.0.1]> wrote in message news:zuTJOjC32jPFFwit@[127.0.0.1]... > With XP, when you use the "My Pictures" screen saver you can configure > many options. > > That doesn't seem to be the case with Vista - unless I'm missing > something - and I hope I am - because it's a feature that's valuable to > me. > > Can anyone advise? > -- > Chris |
