| | Vista OS can't be installed with the ghost image from ghost HDD. Could help us to resolve following question. 1.Load BIOS Default settings,save and exit 2.Install Vista OS RC2. 3.Make Vista OS to image file to ghost HDD,then ghost OS with the image file 4.Restart EUT after ghost,but system can prompt message,and can't enter system. Ghost version is 8.0. Then we try to use latest version 10.0. But still failed. Thank you very much!!! |

| | Re: Vista OS can't be installed with the ghost image from ghost HDD. Same here...Ghost 2003 bootable CD works great for creating/restoring Vista partitions. Just don't try to install use Ghost from within Windows or mark drives. Ghost 2003 was the last version based upon the original Norton Ghost software. After that, Symantec changed to DriveImage-based software, which they took and completely trashed to where it's unreliable in a lot of systems, and marketing it to newbies that will blindly try to use it, then trash their systems.
