file extension

Does anyone know how to change this: C:\Users\Darryl\Music\Pictures\Pictures\Pictures\Pictures\Pictures\Pictures\Pictures\2009-05-18 Huaraz 2006\Pictures\Pictures\Pictures\Pictures\Pictures\Pictures, to C:\Users\Darryl\Pictures. The long extension is where my photos automatically go to, I do not know why or how it got set up that way, it makes things very confusing. Thanks

Re: file extension

Hello Dcm,

This should be able to help you with this.

Backup anything that you do not want to lose in these folders.

Next, double check using OPTION THREE in the tutorial below that both the Music and Pictures folders are set to their default location.

Personal User Folder - Restore Missing Folder

Delete all "C:\Users\Darryl\Music" and "C:\Users\Darryl\Pictures" user folders.

Use the shell command for the "Music" and "Pictures" folder in OPTION ONE of the tutorial above.

Restart the computer to apply. It may take a couple of times to fully restore though.

Hope this helps,
Shawn
