2 Mice in device Manager

All items in device manager show only 1 item, except my mouse ( a logitech G5)
for some reason it shows HID compliant mouse twice

The mouse works fine with the Vista loaded driver just wondering why it
shows up twice?

Vista RC2

Re: 2 Mice in device Manager

Hi,

I don't know, but what happens if you delete both of them and reboot?

Re: 2 Mice in device Manager

Hi Rick,

Tried that and it put 2 back.

I'm going to attempt to load the latest Logitech setpoint stuff tonight and
see what happens. I've heard that it does and does not work with Vista, time
to find out for myself I guess.

Re: 2 Mice in device Manager

Hi,

Try it without any Logitech software installed, just use a generic HID
compliant mouse driver instead.
