| Guest | Re: UK cost of Vista - rip off!! That is the introductory price for Windows Vista Ultimate in the UK. PC PRO (UK edition) did an article some time back about how UK customers are ripped off with the higher prices of software. Perhaps you should search the internet for UK version sof Vista sold in other E.U. countries and see if the prices are cheaper. | Guest | Re: UK cost of Vista - rip off!! UK price is correct we always end up paying more even the beta DVD cost more in the UK. Might be cheaper to fly and buy ![]() I wouldn't mind the cost as much if it was mine when I got it but now I have to wait until I know *exactly* what hardware I need. Now add the extra cost of keeping if you have to install more than twice, plus remember to add the cost of Office in the UK too. | Guest | Re: UK cost of Vista - rip off!! There is no way that I would ever pay that much to have Vista Ultimate running on my computer when I have perfectly good copies of XP that run everything I want and will not cost me any more money. I will probably get the Vista Home Premium upgrade, provided that I think I could justify the expense.
