Vista - Can't connect to shared printer when...

Hi,

I am attempting to connect to a printer shared by a Vista pc here at home
that has no password setup on the main user account. I need to have no
password on this pc. On my laptop, XP's Add printer wizard works fine, I put
in the path to the share \\server\share, and it sees it. However, when
prompted for login credentials, leaving the password field blank leads to a
failure to connect message. Interesting thing is, if I add a password to the
user account, I'm able to connect without problems. But again, I need to
have no password on this machine.

Any help appreciated!

Tom, go to the network and sharing center and see that "Password
required" sharing is not enabled. You will have to do this on both machines.
