We have 2 customers with the same issue. If they found a solution 3
years ago where is it? I cant find a forum that gives me the solution.

What is the point of this thread if you cant give me a solution after 3
years!

VISTA:
Go to Accessories, right click on *Command Prompt*, choose "*Run as an
Administrator*".

Type “*takeown /f wmpnscfg.exe*” then hit enter.

Type “*icacls wmpnscfg.exe /grant administrators:F*” then
hit enter. After this, rename the file, simply type "*ren mfpmp.exe
mfpmp.bak*"

since it only runs when you're playing a file, play a file then open
your task manager, go to Processes, choose *mfpmp.exe* and kill the
process... then close your windows media player/restart your windows
media player and play a file, see if it still runs.
