| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Scanning for rootkits My computer is crashing constantly, and I believe it to be related to my Moby Dick of a rootkit. The reason I call it that is that it showed up one time when I was scanning my system with spysweeper, and before I could remove it, it crashed again. I haven't been able to get it to show up again, and I was trying to see what a good suggestion for a free scanner to hunt it down would be. It showed up as "system registry error - rootkit" or something very similar. |
