Vista - did system recovery & can't get pass windows installation

I had a problem with my slimeline shutting off at odd moments. At first I thought it was only because it was idle too long but it turned off one day while I was in the middle of using it. I think it was because of spy sweeper because there was always a problem with it loading when computer comes on. So I tried a system restore but got the message that it was not able to because of an error, so I did a system recovery to its factory settings. After it restarts and is running for a minute the computer just turns off, and when I turn it back on it gives the message that windows installation is not complete and to press ok to restart and install windows, but after doing that I still get the same message even when I did the recovery again it still shut off at that same point & I keep getting that same message.
