| | Online banking I'm not sure why, but when I do my banking online, I can get to everything but where I need to pay bills. As soon as I click on the tab for 'Bill Payments' it just stops working. It just lags until I give up and go to the laptop that has XP. The banking site is listed as safe, so I'm assuming that there must be another setting that I have to change. Does anyone have an idea what I should try? -- Shirley |

| | Re: Online banking Hi Shirley, Your financial institution may not yet support all the changes in IE7. Check with them to see when this change might occur. If they do fully support it, then they should be able to guide you to the necessary configuration to access the BillPay service. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org "Shirley" <Brandie238@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:uGrJ$iK$GHA.4300@TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl... > I'm not sure why, but when I do my banking online, I can get to everything > but where I need to pay bills. I see you're using Vista RC1 which has a problem with secure websites. RC2 fixed that problem and online banking seems to work again. I checked to see if Microsoft will let you upgrade IE7 on Vista, but they page does not offer that choice. |

| | Re: Online banking Thanks for your reply, Bill Yes, I am using RC1 and I guess there's no way I can get RC2 now, is there? It's frustrating, but I can use my laptop for banking as it has XP on it. Another thing I'm finding is that the darn thing is so much slower than when I had XP on here. I guess it's the Internet Explorer causing the problem. Hope I find an answer soon.
