Vista - Vista screen flashing

Network Guru MCNGP© n/a posts	Vista screen flashing Whenever I launch a new program (Internet explorer for example), the Window flashes until i manually activate it with the mouse. This is driving me crazy and does not enhance MS's reputation. How do I disable this.
