RE: vista packaging revealed

Yes that is very nice packaging but how much extra are we going to pay for it ?
Any clues out there on how much the diff versions of vista are going to cost?

Re: vista packaging revealed

Presumably pirate versions and cracked ones should also be out at the
same time!! I'll wait for these as they are likely to be cheaper!!

Re: vista packaging revealed

Nice Packaging, but having jsut checked the pricing, i think a lot of people
will not be buying it, me inlcuded i suspect, its going to be out of most
peoples price range. Even the home basic range is expensive. Thinking
Microsoft is getting to greedy, if they want to stop illegal copies, they
got to to stop charging so much!!

I can see me sticking with Win2K or XP for a few more years even though I
like Vista, I dont think I am willing to pay the price.

I was gonna get Ultimate upgrade version and do a clean install (I have an
original XP Home disc), but now think I'll go for Home Premium upgrade
instead
