| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Host Process for Windows Services For the past few weeks I have been receiving the message: Host Process for Windows Services stopped working and was closed. A problem caused the application to stop working correctly. Windows will notify you if a solution is available. The window continues to pop up (even if I close it). I've been to different Vista forums and have tried every resolution advised, but to no avail. All of my programs are working fine, it's just that annoying message that's got me frustrated. I've double and tripled "full scans" on my system (no viruses present) Event log has several warnings and errors for Faulting application svchost.exe, but I haven't been able to identify which svchost is causing the problem. Turning off/on services has not helped in issue identification either. I am totally at a loss. For now, I just keep the message minimized on the taskbar. If anyone can offer advice, I'd be most appreciative. I have not as yet completed my system details, but if it is helpful I am using Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit OS. |
