Direct X

How do I find out what version of Direct X I have?
I'm running vista RC2(5744) 32-bit

Win key + R > type in "dxdiag" without quotes hit enter

Vista comes with Direct X 10. To verify, type "dxdiag" in the Run box, or in
the Start Search box in the Start Menu.

Vista comes with both DirectX 10 and code that is compatible with
DirectX 9. The video drivers from nVidia presently don't support DirectX
10 under Vista and the nVidia 8800 series GPUs are the only ones that
presently could run DX10, even if the drivers supported it.
