Re: Interoperability of Windows and Linux--How much Hell has Frozen Over?

Way to Go, MS.

Seriously, I'll probably never stop buying the L&G Windows versions, but
there are certain things that just are better suited to Linux (especially as
a Computer Science grad, since Linux gives those of us who don't work for MS
access to operating system source to poke around with and learn from).

MS working to make the two OSes work together better is good for me.

Re: Interoperability of Windows and Linux--How much Hell has Frozen Over?

It's OT but I am progressively getting the feeling that MS is veering away
from absolute usability, and changing things for the sake of launching 'new
and improved features. It will be difficult to call any Windows launch
anything less than a success. But MS applications, out of the box, just
aren't as intuitive as they looked in the XP era.
