| | Memory Hi, I'm running Vista 64-bit with an Athlon 64 X2 4600 and windows feels a bit slow. I've currently got 1GB of RAM, would an upgrade to 2GB be of benefit? Mark |

| | Re: Memory It certainly would, I have been running Vista x64 for the past 15 months now and I just notice it loves memory, the more you give it, the better the performance. -- Andre Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta "arkwright" <news@REMOVETHISmarkjamieson.me.uk> wrote in message news:HM23h.1491$rn6.708@newsfe1-win.ntli.net... > Hi, > > I'm running Vista 64-bit with an Athlon 64 X2 4600 and windows feels a bit > slow. > > I've currently got 1GB of RAM, would an upgrade to 2GB be of benefit? > > Mark |

| | I'm using 32bits version with core 2 e6400, 1gb ddr400 and 7900gs and it's damn fast. Faster than XP thanks to superfetch. For games, specially new games like gothic III, 2 gb will be better but i think we'll have to wait for better drivers and benchmarks |
