Could someone show me how to do this? as a link in an email or newsgroup message, you don't have to anything. Most email clients and newsreaders look for URLs or email addresses and automatically make them clickable. Ah...you want only the name to show and the address to be hidden. So you'll have to make an HTML message (I don't know how to do that in your client). The language for the link is: My name -- Tim Slattery MS MVP(Shell/User) Slattery_T@newsgroup http://members.cox.net/slatteryt |

You can do it so the address isn't readily visible, but you can't get rid of it entirely. However you hide it, it will be very easy for the recipient of the message to find it.
