RTM-Final thoughts

Well,
To all;
It's been fun testing Vista-ethical and business decisions aside(SPP/EULA).
A BIG SHOUTOUT to ANDRE-THX ANDRE, for all your help;from helping me to
build a "Vista ready" laptop-b4 ANY hardware guidance from MSFT; and
answering lots of noob questions.
And to Zach, wherever ya are. THX :-)

On to antagonists/protagonists!!

Chad,
Bro keep up the good fight; back to XP for me until;and if SPP gets dumped.

MVPooheads;
and if the shoe fits-LOL- I've found;in my travels;lots of GREAT
MVP's;nonjudgmental;not blinded by MSFT rhetoric; great people-too many
to list.
Conversely;have ran into certain MVPooheads; who seem to have a MSFT
agenda;right or wrong. You know who ya are; so I won;t go there; but
your posts tell all; for all to see.

Trolls,
And yes; I've seen my share of them in here also!!
Get a life; it's MSFT's o.s.-no matter what anyone says, it's still the
DOMINANT force in the pc world.

Jimmy B.
What can I say?
You've been the example;many MVP's should look to;
Never;well;rarely;injecting your own personal opinion; and ALWAYS
explaining Vista stuff.
IMHO YOU are Vista THE ORIGINAL VISTA MVP- everyone started at ground
zero with Vista; and Jimmy; you have my vote for Vista MVP-if I could
only vote!!! LOL- (Some MVP BETTER nominate Jimmy).

To anyone still hanging around here from before CPP days;
I know who ya are; and it's been a fun ride.
FYI-that means YOU-KJP-oh shoot-mighta violated an NDA there!! :-)
Jason; yup you too,

Jane; ummm, umm my ;;;;;;; keys stuck!!!

There are lots of folks who've contributed; too many to list; but it's
been fun.

Peace everyone,

Jeff :-)
not goin away-just too much coffe;lol; and reminiscing.

Re: RTM-Final thoughts

Oh, what can I say Jeff? Thank you, you have also played a pivotal role in
this NG and I hope you continue to do so post RTM. I want to thank everyone
also, Testers, MSFT, MVPs and everybody who have really been banging against
Vista since January when these NGs. started.

Re: RTM-Final thoughts

Gosh ... Thanks for the compliments. I don't know what to say!

I have always looked forward to reading your posts and partaking in
intelligent discussion with you (and Chad as well). I hope that won't stop
just because Vista has RTM'd ... I'd rather hope things are just getting
started

I wish more people like you and Chad were around to keep the discussion
active! It's always good to present all possible sides to an issue.

I still haven't read up on SPP, so I have nothing to say about it ... but I
am glad MS relaxed their licensing terms.

Re: RTM-Final thoughts

Jeff, there is no NDA for Windows Vista (even Beta 1 did not have a NDA),
Just FYI.
