| | System Restore Takes Forever to Open When I click System Restore it takes nearly 40 seconds top open. Sometimes longer than that. When my patients runs out and I clisk it again I get a message telling me it's already open. Where, I have no idea. Anyone else having this problem? James |

You open System Restore and you think it didn't open so you try it again and it says something like: System Restore is already running, closing current session. Maybe it just takes awhile to load as it has to read all the current and past restore points... |

I'm not sure if I got the name right, but I do remember maybe 40 minutes with no visible sign of progress, or even activity, followed by a successful boot. That was painful. I still shudder five or six months later, just remembering it so I could write this post.
