last good configuration

i needed to use the option last good configuration that i used in xp but it was not available is thier a replacement option?

Here are the steps to take to use 'Last Known Good Configuration'

Click on the bottom link, its named How do I start the computer using Last Known Good Configuration? Hope this helps

When the screen goes black for the first time, start gently tapping <F8> and choose the Last Known Good Configuration option
