Vista - Changing Gadget Update Rates

Re-post: Is there a universal refresh rate for data associated with sidebar
gadgets or
does each gadget have its own refresh rate?

Is there a way to adjust the rates?

For example, stock quotes seem woefully behind even the 20-min built-in
delay. News headlines are often 12 or more hours behind. And, I can't be sure
how current the current temperature is.

Nope, you have to use the Gadgets available Configuration settings, click
the wrench when you hover over it check the available settings.

No, but the Gadget should have configurations you can edit just click the
wrench when you hover over it.

The wrench does set some preferenes but refresh rate is not one of them. It
would seem there should be a way to force an refresh or at least adjust the
refresh rate.
