    System Restore and Dual Boot

I know that Vista SR points are deleted when you switch back to XP. Is there
a workaround? I read that you can use Bit-Locker in Vista Ultimate to
correct this but what are the steps?

    Hi,

Bitlocker simply needs to be enabled on that Vista volume. Make sure you
understand what it is before you enable it:

Other solutions include using a third party boot manager to hide the Vista
    installation from XP,

    Thanks for the info Rick,
I researched Bitlocker and I believe it is a little to risky for my
configuration. I have Vista Ultimate on one HD and XP on another HD.
When I went to enable bitlocker, the message said I could not use bitlocker
on the volume indicated which was the XP HD! Further research stated that I
    needed
two partitions on the Vista drive which I do not have at present. Rather
than risk damaging my Vista info I decided I can live with SR deletions when
    I boot XP.
I will look into third party software though. Thanks again.
