| | Icon to return to Desktop Another Win 7 question. In Win XP I had an icon in my quick launch bar to return to desktop from anywhere. How can I get such an icon/command in Win 7? Thanks for your time. Otto |

A clarification here: "the far right" is correct if the task bar is in its default position at the bottom of the screen, or at the top of the screen. But if the task bar is at the left or right (positions that *I* prefer with today's wide monitors), that "tiny glassy box" is at the bottom, rather than the far right. -- Ken Blake, Microsoft MVP (Windows Desktop Experience) since 2003 Please Reply to the Newsgroup |

I don't know whether the icon size has an effect on its size or not, but its width depends upon the width of the task bar. -- Ken Blake, Microsoft MVP (Windows Desktop Experience) since 2003 Please Reply to the Newsgroup |
