Text editor that doesn't need an install

Use to have a very good text editor on my work PC (win 2000), firstly
TextPad and then PSPad.
My work PC has now been upgraded to Vista Enterprise and I can't
reinstall them, since I don't have admin rights and don't expect to be
easily given them.
Anyone know of a text editor like either of these which can simply be
run as an exe?
Thanks,
Martin J

I suspect that NotePad++ might fill the bill if you follow their
"no-install, just-run" instructions. It is free so you won't be out much
except time to try it. The program is also available as a Portable App
which runs from a USB key but I don't know how that would work out under
Vista's draconian rules.

Zeus does comes as an installer package but once it has been
installed
once it can then be easly copied to any another location.

But Zeus does need minimal user permissions as it does write some
information to the users Windows registry.
