C:/windows/installer contains files that date back to 2007 when laptop was
first purchased and is over 500mb. Should windows be keeping these files and
can they be deleted or moved.TIA Keith.

This folder contains files used during install process. Without content of
this folder, you would be unable to repair, modify, upgrade, uninstall
software installed on your computer.
