Samsung 1740 will not print unless USB is plugged in, won't work..

wirelessly like it did in XP. It won't print anything, the says the port is
USB virtual
the print spooler service is running. It shows up in my printers on my
desktop on my wireless network but I can't print to it. Using Vista Ultimate
build 5744. Any ideas? Lost a rebate on something cause I couldn't print the
form, I couldn't even print to file. If I plug in the USB cable it works
fine. HELP
