Vista - Dimension 5150 sounds and videos

Hi

I just upgraded my XP Professional Dimension 5150 to Vista Ultimate and now
there isn't a sound coming from it. Admittedly I was warned by the Vista
installer that there may be a problem with the sound. Anybody any idea how
to fix it or if there will be an updated driver available?

Have you checked Windows Update yet?

What type of sound card is it? Creative Labs has quite a few beta drivers
for Vista up on it's site now.

From what I've learnt Dell uses Sigmatel audio, so to get sound back try the
following.
1/ Windows update
2/ Uninstall the audio device and hope Vista will reinstall it.
3/ Try and install an XP driver
