Vista - no chance for vista rc2!

A FEW WEEKS AGO I GOT A E-MAIL TELLING ME THAT VISTA RC1 WAS READY TO
DOWNLOAD AND I DOWNLOADED IT SO I THEN FIGURED THAT IF A NEW VERSION CAME OUT
I WOULD GET ANOTHER E-MAIL (WRONG!!) NOW I AM NOT EXACTLY COMPLAINING BECAUSE
I LOVE WINDOWS VISTA BUT I WOULD OF LIKED TO OF BEEN ABLE TO DOWNLOAD RC2 BUT
NOW THE TRIAL DOWNLOAD PERIOD IS OVER SO I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THERE IS
ANYTHING I CAN DO TO GET IT.................THANX.

Why the caps? It is considered shouting.

CPP was promised Beta 2 and RC1. A hundred thousand randomly selected folks
did get an invitation to download RC2, but that was all.

CPP ended with the release to manufacturing of Vista build 6000 on November
8.

It's RTM and RTM has enough things that are still beta--why would you want
the Beta RC2?

RTM is what normally would be considered Beta 1 but MSFT lowers its
standards as time moves forward. They want more money, but quality is not a
premium that you're going to see showcased.

You can buy a license for RTM Vista right now in stores.

I didn't get an invitation, but I did download and install RC2 (legally). I
did have to get out of bed to start the download after reading about the
availability of the download (on one of my favorite news tech websites) on
my pocket pc.
