Locking workstation causes re-boot

Since loading release version of Vista - I continously get an auto-reboot -
about 80% of the time when I hit ctl-alt-delete. This is the step towards
locking my workstation. I noticed also that if I don't lock it and come
back about an hour later, that it's rebooted - which suggests that the
screen saver locking the workstation causes the same symptom. Anyone else
getting this?

Re: Locking workstation causes re-boot

Hi,

Curious behavior, but what is actually happening is being masked. Vista, by
default, automatically restarts on system failure. Disabling this behavior
should instead produce a bluescreen (BSOD or Stop error) that will contain
needed information to properly diagnose the problem. Open the System applet
in the Control Panel, click on advanced system settings. Click on the
Startup and Recovery Settings, disable (uncheck) the line to automatically
restart on system failure. Apply/ok your way out.

Try to cause the error again, see what happens. If there is the error
screen, post back with the details.
