| | Re: Recovering the booting Windows Vista beta 2 Sorry, my mistake If you install an OS to an unformatted disk/partition (therefore no drive letter) and other disks/partitions are formatted and therefore will be assigned drive letters, it will be assigned the lowest available drive letter. And you cannot later change that drive letter. You can also not change the drive letter of any disk/partition where boot information is located. |
