For those obssessed by multiple cores :)

Since several CPU-related questions have been asked, the following links
based on the newsletters recently received are provided Just FYI®:

(1) Intel® Core™2 Duo Processors:
http://www.intel.com/performance/desktop/gaming40.htm

(2) Intel® Core™2 Extreme Processor (a.k.a quad-core, or quad-core in one
die, or whatever_name_you_think quad-core):
http://www.intel.com/products/proces...e2XE/index.htm

(3) Bonus pack - Compare different processors:
http://indigo.intel.com/compare_cpu/...&culture=en-US

Disclaimers:
(1) Have no association with Intel in any way
(2) It is intended for your information, and please go to AMD and/or
Microsoft for related benchmarks, if provided, and this is not intended for
advertisement.

Question mark (?) was trademark, and I used it for Just FYI for fun since it
should be KJP's trademark

Re: For those obssessed by multiple cores :)

Yeah, the trademark symbol was what I saw.
And my outgoing post shows the trademark symbol.
(does it show up again in your newsreader as a question mark: Just FYI®)?
I got a belly laugh out of that.
Brilliant.

Thanks.

Re: For those obssessed by multiple cores :)

No, I'm using OE, so it's a ?, and I thought that was what had been
displayed.

Just trying to show sense of humor and hope did not offend anyone

If so, I apologize.

Re: For those obssessed by multiple cores :)

I'm using OE too...
But I do see the trademark symbol (not on your replies though)
Very humorous and a great relief from all the sniping.

That looks like the same thing they said a year ago when people asked
if dual-core benefits gamers just before Christmas 2005. It's good to
recycle.
