IntelliPoint 6 Beta for all

Some people have had access to IP6 beta for a while, others, like me, in the
CPP weren't able to download it.

I haven't heard any announcements here but it is now available to download
from MSFT:

http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/vi...ellipoint.mspx

One the left side you can also download the Keyboard software if needed. My
mouse finally gets full functionality in Vista.

Re: IntelliPoint 6 Beta for all

Sorry you missed it. It was announced a couple of weeks ago.

Unfortunately, if you have a wireless mouse (non-Bluetooth) they still have
not solve the screen saver problem.

Yes, it was mentioned in this post:

WM doesn't seem to let these sort of links work anymore..., but I'm not sure
if I am doing it right.

The problem with this release for me is that it actually doesn't work at all
with the MS Intellimouse for Bluetooth.

Re: IntelliPoint 6 Beta for all

I must have missed it. Oh well, thanks anyway.

I have the wireless optical mouse 2.0 and so far no issues at all, but I
don't have screen saver ON. What exactly is the issue with screen saver? Oh
I'm being lazy; I'll search the problem here.

Re: IntelliPoint 6 Beta for all

Note that the magnify feature does not work with the Vista theme, only in
classic.
