| | Duplicate OSs on PC, 32-64 Hello, I have Windows XP 32bit today, and I want to install the Vista 64bit in addition to the XP. Is there any problem with that? (I want them both installed). Moreover, on January first, will I be able to "Uninstall" the Vista? or I'll stuck with the beta forever? (If I decide not to upgrade to the Vista). Thank you, Hanan. |

| | Re: Duplicate OSs on PC, 32-64 No problems dual booting, just make sure you install Vista x64 on a logical partition. When the beta expires, to remove it, you have format the partition it is installed. You can do this from within XP, but the Vista boot manager will remain. -- Andre Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta "???" <hanansa88@walla.co.il> wrote in message news:A77B362F-9C21-43C2-B81D-2482F723AE8C@microsoft.com... > Hello, > I have Windows XP 32bit today, and I want to install the Vista 64bit in > addition to the XP. | | Re: Duplicate OSs on PC, 32-64 Just curious - why install 64 bit version if support is not available - for example a 64 bit processor? You would not logically be able to compare OSs - if that is in mind. Then again if 64 bit processor is available - why not consider XP 64 bit version?
