Vista Tutorial - help with vista RC1 and office 2007 trial

i have been having trouble using my office 2007. it loads fine, but won't
work properly when trying to use any of the applications. could it be that i
have office 2003 on my computer?

i have vista rc 1 and it is running great! : )

Do you mean you had Office 2003 previously installed,
then you installed Office 2007?
If so, did you first uninstall Office 2003?
You can check the version from menu>Help>About

Hi Sharon,

No, you wouldn't have 2003 on your system unless you knowingly install it.
Office 2007 on RC1 required the technical refresh (update) to also be
installed. Have you done this? If not, you may still be able to grab it
here:

Also, you can just get the Office Professional final version trial at microsoft.com. You have to uninstall Office first to install it. Later you can upgrade or buy a Retail version. It lasts until 2/28/07
