| | RE: what's the faster one... Are you talking about RAM vs. USB Flash Drive? Of course that RAM will be much more faster than a USB Flash Drive. If you are running Vista, which includes the technology to run USB Flash Drives as RAM, *(I think it is called ReadyBoost, not sure) then I rather get the RAM upgrade rather than the USB Flash Drive. RAM is much more faster, and convinient that the USB, because that technology may be tied with USB bandwiths, and if you have multiple USB devices on your pc, they may slow down the USB flash drive as RAM. And a system benefits with more physical RAM, than some from a USB. -- Stuserver "Marc Antheunis" wrote: > a sd ultra III card or a decent usb flash drive > i mean which device is faster in writing and reading? > the sd ultra III card delivers 20 mb/s transfer rate, but i can't find any > numbers for the usb flash drives... > thx > marc > > |
