Can't get ODBC driver to install

I have software that uses ODBC to access and transfer data between my
computer and my PPC. The data is stored in Foxpro files.
The error message that I get is;
"Native Error=0, State=IM002, Msg=[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data
source name not found and no default driver specified"

Trying to install the VFPODBC driver from Microsoft I get a message that
says;
"Error 1316: A network error occurred while attempting to read from the
file: C\Users\Downloads\VFPODBC.msi"

Apparently the software works ok in Vista RTM, I'm running RC2. I read where
this error 1316 can be caused by having Office 2007 on the system so I
uninstalled that, but I still get the same results.

Does anyone have ideas a to how I could get this to work, or explain to my
why I get the message about a network error when the file is local.

Ray

Re: Can't get ODBC driver to install

Apparently it's a bug that was fixed in the RTM code.

Re: Can't get ODBC driver to install

Thanks Richard, I guess I'll have to wait until next year then.
