| | How to make computer sleep remotely? I remote into a Vista box via Remote Desktop. I don't see an option to put this machine to sleep. I can shutdown (shutdown /s) or shutdown/restart (shutdown /r) but no sleep. Is there a way to enable this? Thanks, Brett |

| | RE: How to make computer sleep remotely? There are probably many ways, but what I do is create a RemoteShutdown.js file with the (text) content "(new ActiveXObject("Shell.Application")).ShutdownWindows();" removing the outer quote marks of course. Then create a shortcut (drag MB2) and rename the shortcut to RemoteShutdown. Clicking on that gives me all the shutdown options. "Brett" wrote: > I remote into a Vista box via Remote Desktop.
