| | "Open Command Prompt Here"? Does anyone know of a registry hack to get this on a context menu? TweakUI has always had that in the past, but since there's (not yet) a TweakUI for Vista, I was wondering how to achieve this manually. Speaking of TweakUI. it's too bad MS didn't include these features by default in Vista (or at least give you the option of using them via an "advanced options" .cpl or some such thing). I've been griping about that with every Windows version. -- Scott http://angrykeyboartder.com A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text. Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing? |

| | Re: "Open Command Prompt Here"? Greetings, Here is what I use: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?...pic=52524&st=0 browse down to the extension that says Cmd Prompt Here 1.0 new 4/16/2006 That link however is old and does not work, a mirror is here: http://fileho.com/download/8fb6f1205...Setup.exe.html - Shell extension that launches the command prompt set to the folder it was accessed from. I also use the one that says HIDDEN FILES TOGGLE 2.0 "Scott" <geekboy@angrykeyboarder.comatose> wrote in message news:R8Ugh.551712$eS1.533258@fe05.news.easynews.com... > Does anyone know of a registry hack to get this on a context menu? > > TweakUI has always had that in the past, but since there's (not yet) a > TweakUI for Vista, I was wondering how to achieve this manually. > > Speaking of TweakUI. it's too bad MS didn't include these features by > default in Vista (or at least give you the option of using them via an > "advanced options" .cpl or some such thing).
