Vista - how many time zones in America ?

how many time zones in America ? There is only a time in China. I see here
there are many different time zones in the details' of properities of
messages.

Hi,

The continental US has 4, commonly termed Eastern, Central, Mountain, and
Pacific. There are also separate zones for both Alaska and Hawaii. The
myriad of selections you are seeing in the settings are because it is easier
for those in other countries to pick theirs out, and certain areas, like
Arizona, do not use daylight savings like the rest of the country.

Alaska isn't on the continent? When did that happen and how come I didn't
feel the earthquake?

I couldn't believe this statement but apparently it's true. There's about 5
hours difference in sun time between eastern and western China. That must
make for some very unusual sunrise and sunset times...
