I'm not sure but would Driver Verifier help you do this any? Do you mean
DVM (Driver Verifier Manager)? It's reached by typing verifier into the run
box.
I work with it to prevent blue screen stop errors in XP and Vista and I
don't think MSFT has recognized this well yet. Here's a summary and a
downloadable doc on it.

What have you found on TechNet? Most of the info I have seen on driver
testing has been on TechNet and MSDN.

You're right and I was sure mistaken confusing DV and DTM. But you get
help here:
DTM
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...ce1091.xml.asp
DTM Testing Overview
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...ce1091.xml.asp
Blogging about developing, testing and getting a logo for your drivers
using the Windows Driver Kit and the Driver Test Manager
http://blogs.msdn.com/craigrow/
Search on MSDN for DTM Sites:
http://search.msdn.microsoft.com/sea...driver+testing
Also there is a support alias for help and it's DTMSupp@microsoft.com
They should be able to steer you to other sources of help.
Best of luck,

I have some problems with DTM too. The main issue is the fact that File
System Filter driver is legacy driver. MS states that uncategorized
drivers (File System Filters for example) should pass Unclassified
Signature program on DTM to obtain required signature from MS.
Unclassified Signature program consist of Driver Realibility tests.
These tests are insignificant for File System Drivers. Plug and Play
driver test is a champion ). Actually this test could not be passed if
you don't have real device (or root enumerated device, such as vhidmini
in WDK sources). If you have а question or some news, please
contact me via ICQ 76759600. I think a lot of developers are confused
by DTM.
