Windows Installer - The temp folder is on a drive that is full

I get the message - The temp folder is on a drive that is full or is in
accessible. Free u psapce on the drive or verify that you have write
permission on the temp folder.

This pops up while trying to install Adobe acrobat version 8.

I have windows vista business installed and atleast 6 gig free on my
c:drive. I have run cleanup also.

Re: Windows Installer - The temp folder is on a drive that is full

This is a known bug.

....worked for me. The steps aren't perfect but it should be obvious.

Thanks for the info. I imagine I'll see more of this.

Re: Windows Installer - The temp folder is on a drive that is full

Phil--

I'm not sure if that's your original C:\ or a renamed C:\ because of the
Vista setup from a reboot instead of say from XP. If you have an original
drive that was your root drive (was C:\) make sure that you have space on
it.

Check out what space on every drive using diskmgmt.msc in the run box.

Your temp folder in Vista is at C:\ (or Vista drive letter designated)
Users\Phil's Profile\App Data\Local\Teamp and you can bring it up by typing
%temp% in the Vista run box, just as in XP.
