| | Vista Quick Launch Bar I am used to moving the Quick Launch bar where ever I like but in Vista I have not been able to grab and move it like I can in XP. This morning while playing with it I double-clicked on the divider and it moved the bar over next to the Taskbar but I can't move it back or grab the divider as in XP. The Taskbar is not locked, has anyone done anything with this on Vista that can enlighten me about this? Thanks in advance! |

| | Re: Vista Quick Launch Bar Hi Mikey, Yes, that did work fine. I never use a double-wide or larger Task Bar so I never thought to try that. You must grab it and pull it down to the bottom and pull it over to the Start button, once you close any open tabs then you can pull it up back to its original location and then reopen any tabs/programs. Has anyone had any success move the Quick Launch in Vista to the top of the page, or side of the screen? On some of my XP machines I keep the QL Bar on top of the screen because some users like to have many items, ie all their icons from the desktop on the QL Bar and it crowds out the Task Bar items so that works well for them but in Vista I haven't yet gotten the method to move the QL anywhere but next to the right side of the Task Bar.
