virtual drives - don't work! DAEMON tools and more

I would like to use virtual drives with software like Alcohol 120% or DAEMON
tools, but it seems to be impossible to run such a software correctly on
Vista...
I am using final build and I am having troubles with installing virtual
drive - I tried Alcohol 120%, DAEMON Tools, PowerISO and about 4 more
programs but in all cases one of following happened:
a) program refused to install (showing incompatibility message)
b) program installed correctly and then crashed or at least showed error
when trying to use virtual drives feature
c) program installed correctly, then no errors were shown appearing to be
all ok, but I can't see any virtual drives in my Computer windows although
I've set the right option on.

I tried especially on DAEMON tools hoping to finally get the answer, as the
latest version was said to be compatible with Vista (even on their website
are 2 versions of program - for x86 and x64 machines - I've downloaded the
correct one of course.).

It seems to me that DT has installed the drives somehow correctly, but they
don't appear anywhere. My Device Manager something like that:

Could you recommend me ANY soft that will run the virtual drives correctly?
Or how to fix the problem with DAEMON tools?

I am using final Vista running 64bit.

Thanks in advanced!

I've got Virtual Clone Drive working fine here - it mounts images no
problems. Haven't got anything yet to create images.
I have turned off UAC - it stopped several programs loading at boot.

Alcohol works.
